According to a report by Ross Ballot on ATV.com, Honda is doubling down on its utility roots by confirming the return of the FourTrax multipurpose ATV lineup for the 2027 model year. The announcement ensures that loyalists of the brand will continue to have access to the full spectrum of Honda quads, ranging from the approachable Recon to the flagship Rubicon 700.
Honda FourTrax Recon
The Recon remains the entry point for the lineup, maintaining its reputation for being a compact, minimalist workhorse. Powered by a 229cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, it remains a popular choice for those who prioritize simplicity. Owners can choose between a standard manual shift or Honda’s Electric Shift Program (ESP). The 2027 models will be available in Hero Red and Black Forest Green starting in October.

Honda FourTrax Rancher
The Rancher continues to be the most configurable model in the fleet. Utilizing a 518cc liquid-cooled engine, the 2027 Rancher is available in 2WD and 4WD configurations. Buyers can select between manual, automatic Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), and power steering options. Pricing starts at $6,299 for the base model and climbs to $9,649 for the top-tier IRS EPS Camo trim.

Honda FourTrax Foreman Rubicon
Positioned as the "sweet spot" of the lineup, the Rubicon 4x4 series balances utility with advanced comfort features like independent rear suspension. These machines share the 518cc engine but add significant technology packages. Availability begins in July, with prices ranging from $9,799 to $10,999 depending on the specific trim and paint options.

Honda FourTrax Rubicon 700
At the top of the hierarchy sits the Rubicon 700 4x4 Automatic. Featuring a 675cc liquid-cooled, semi-dry-sump single-cylinder engine, this model represents the most powerful and technologically advanced option in Honda’s current ATV catalog. While specific pricing has not been disclosed, the model is expected to hit showroom floors in August in Hero Red and Matte Silver.
