Following a recent organizational relaunch, the Off-Road Business Association (ORBA) has confirmed its participation as a major sponsor and exhibitor at Overland Expo West 2026. This announcement, reported by UTVGuide.net, highlights a strategic move by the SEMA-owned entity to bridge the gap between motorized advocacy and the rapidly growing overlanding community.

Scheduled for May 15-17, 2026, in Flagstaff, Arizona, the event will serve as a platform for ORBA to showcase its renewed mission. Attendees can expect an exhibitor lounge where the organization’s leadership team will host educational sessions regarding land-use challenges and the broader benefits of organizational membership. Additionally, the team plans to provide an exclusive preview of the 2026 Overland Expo Industry Report.

Sean P. Holman, acting as ORBA’s interim executive director, emphasized the importance of this partnership. According to Holman, the collaboration is designed to foster deeper relationships with businesses and enthusiasts, which are essential for the organization’s federal and state-level advocacy goals. By engaging directly with the community, ORBA aims to better represent the voices of those who rely on public lands for recreation.

The partnership is reciprocal, as Overland Expo has also committed to joining ORBA as a Platinum-level member. Emily Boden, Show Director at Overland Expo, noted that this alignment is a natural evolution for the event series. Boden believes that ORBA’s work is vital for ensuring that both commercial entities and individual adventurers maintain access to public off-road spaces.

Furthering the organization's reach, Karen Bailey-Chapman, SEMA’s Senior Vice President for Public and Government Affairs, is slated to participate in the 'Women Who Wander' networking brunch. Her presence will highlight the ongoing efforts to protect motorized access to public lands through legislative engagement. These initiatives are part of ORBA's broader strategy, which includes enhanced research capabilities, coalition-building, and a renewed focus on stewardship and education for the off-road industry.
