Polaris has announced the addition of two new models to its Ranger lineup: the 2026 Ranger 1000 Cab and the 2027 Ranger XP 1000 Cab. According to Polaris, these new trims aim to provide all-season comfort and expand the company's range of cabbed side-by-sides.
Reid Wilson, President of Off-Road Vehicles at Polaris, stated that these models are a direct response to customer feedback, offering solutions for those who need protection from the elements while working or recreating. The announcement was made on February 5, 2026.
2026 Polaris Ranger 1000 Cab
The 2026 Ranger 1000 Cab builds upon the Ranger 1000 Premium, adding a fully enclosed cab and a factory-installed heating system. Key features include:
- Enclosed Cab: A factory-installed cab with a fixed glass windshield provides protection from rain, snow, and dust.
- Factory-Installed Heating: Improves comfort in cold weather.
- 4,500-Pound Winch: Comes with synthetic rope, auto stop, and a wireless remote.
- Full-Coverage Front Bumper: Designed for robust protection in tough off-road conditions.
- LED Headlights: For enhanced lighting during low-light conditions.
- 61-Horsepower ProStar Engine: Delivers smooth and quiet power.
- Class-Leading Capacity: Features a 1,000-lb. box capacity and 2,500-lb. towing capacity.
The 2026 Ranger 1000 Cab is available as a 3-seater and comes in Granite Gray, Mirage Beige, Rover Rust, and Polaris Pursuit Camo. Pricing starts at $21,999 (U.S.) and $26,999 (CAN.). Polaris states that shipping to dealers will begin in February 2026. It is backed by a 1-year warranty, according to Polaris.
2027 Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Cab
The 2027 Ranger XP 1000 Cab offers even more comfort with a factory-installed HVAC system. Key features include:
- Enclosed Cab with HVAC: A factory-installed enclosed cab with a fixed glass windshield, powered front windows, heating, and air conditioning.
- Variable AC Compressor: Delivers faster cooling, even at idle and low RPMs.
- 82-Horsepower ProStar Engine: More power than the Ranger 1000.
- 3-Position Throttle Control: Offers different drive modes for enhanced control.
- 29-inch Pro Armor X Terrain Tires: 8-ply tires with a variable tread design to reduce noise.

The 2027 Ranger XP 1000 Cab is available in a 3-seat or CREW configuration and comes in Avalanche Gray. Pricing starts at $24,499 (U.S.) and $30,999 (CAN.). Polaris says that shipping to dealers will begin in March 2026. Like the Ranger 1000 Cab, it is backed by a 1-year warranty, according to Polaris.
