RIGID Industries has officially expanded its portfolio with the launch of the Phoenix Series, a modular lighting platform engineered specifically for the evolving needs of the off-road and overlanding communities. According to the company, this release represents a significant shift toward customizable, multi-functional lighting rather than static, single-purpose hardware.
The standout feature of the Phoenix Series is its ability to handle adverse weather and varying trail conditions through integrated color-select technology. Users can toggle between five distinct color modes—ranging from cool white to amber—directly from the cab. This functionality is aimed at reducing eye fatigue during long night rides and improving visibility in dust, fog, or heavy precipitation.
According to Natalie Shpiegel, Director of Sales and Marketing at RIGID Industries, the system was developed after gathering feedback from enthusiasts who required more flexibility from their lighting setups. By allowing drivers to adjust beam patterns, light output, and color temperature without stopping, the Phoenix Series aims to provide a more seamless experience on the trail.
The product lineup is segmented into three primary offerings: the 5-inch Phoenix pod, the 7-inch Phoenix XL pod, and the Phoenix Connect system. The latter is particularly notable for its scalability, as it allows users to link multiple 5-inch pods into pre-wired configurations of 30, 40, or 50 inches. This modularity ensures that owners can tailor their lighting output to specific vehicle platforms or bumper configurations.
Performance remains at the forefront of the design. The standard Phoenix pod is capable of producing up to 10,104 lumens, while the larger Phoenix XL model pushes output up to 14,213 lumens. To help manage the electrical demands of these high-output LEDs, RIGID has included three selectable power settings, allowing users to balance brightness against power draw based on their vehicle’s electrical capacity.
The Phoenix Series is currently available through authorized RIGID dealers and the company's official website. As with previous product lines, these lights are backed by the manufacturer's warranty, ensuring long-term durability for extreme off-road use.
